Warren Sherman McCrater, II

Warren Sherman McCrater, II, 61, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away at Caromont Regional on August 7, 2024. He was born April 13, 1963, in Androscoggin County, Maine to Phoebe Rolphe McCrater and the late Warren Sherman McCrater.

He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Lillian Chaisson.

Warren loved to ride motorcycles. He was always working with his hands building things and going to flea markets. He loved to camp and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren riding the golf cart. Warren also enjoyed spending time with friends.

Left to cherish his memories are mother; wife of 32 years, April Marie Tripp McCrater; daughter, April Smith; sons, Adam McCrater, Michael Tripp (Jamey); David Tripp, Travis Deprey; brothers, Patrick McCrater, and Timothy McCrater; sister, Melissa Chase; brother-in-law, David Chaisson; grandchildren, Gavin Smith, Lillian Smith, Willow McCrater, Cylas McCrater, Kayla Tripp, Kolton Tripp; along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, special friends who loved him dearly.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Warren’s Memorial Service will follow in the chapel at 4:00 pm with Pastor Robert Austin officiating.
