Vera Jane Kinley, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2017, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House. She was born April 12, 1946 in Gaston County, daughter to the late James Samuel and Vera Blanche Kiser Kinley
She is survived by her brother Jimmy Samuel Kinley; niece Sara Kinley; and her beloved cats.
She was formerly employed by the Gaston Gazette.
Her graveside service will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Greg Qualls officiating.
Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10 am- 12 pm Wednesday.
