Stevette Broughton

Stevette Broughton, 55, of Gastonia passed away on October 27, 2025, at her home. She was born on February 3, 1970, to Steve Eugene Broughton and the late Drennan Chitwood Strickland.

She is preceded in death by her mother, stepfather, Dwight Strickland, and brothers, Jeff Strickland and Sean Harmon.

Stevette loved animals, music, reading, crafts, and plants. She was an activist, and she enjoyed volunteering.

She is survived by her father, Steve Broughton, stepmother, Sandra Broughton, daughter, Lauryn Jacobs, and fur baby, Finnley, stepsister, Lorrie Bradshaw, stepbrother, Chris Harmon, sister-in-law, Marcie Strickland, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Stevette’s Graveside Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia, North Carolina with Ron Whithers officiating.
