Shirley Stiles

Shirley Ann Tate Stiles, 74, of Gastonia, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Peak Resource of Gastonia. She was born in Cleveland County on September 4, 1941 to the late Odell and Reba Bailey Tate.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Tate.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Lori Stiles Pope; son, Neal Stiles and wife Rachel all of Gastonia; sisters, Doris Self and husband Morris and Betty Bivins; grandchildren, Lindsay Hewitt and Amber White; three great-grandchildren.

Shirley retired from Wallace Computer Service.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Flint Groves Baptist Church of Gastonia with the Rev. Ronnie Bowers and the Rev. Larry Bradley officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.

Memorials can be made to Senior TLC of Gastonia or Flint Groves Baptist Church.
