Sandra Wells Hall

Sandra “Sandy” Wells Hall, of Kings Mountain, passed away on January 20, 2026, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Sandy was born to the late Richard Carveth Wells and Phyllis Faye Jones Wells of Kings Mountain on March 31, 1966.

Sandy graduated from Kings Mountain High School, where she was active in the 4-H club, choir, and King’s Review. In her younger years, she was a dedicated member of the Kings Mountain Foursquare Gospel Church and was known as a remarkably talented Gospel singer. Her musical journey began in the church and with her family’s traveling group, The Gospel Sounds and The Wells Family. Her voice became a trademark for the group and served her well in her solo performances, for which she won many awards.

Sandy was a loving and caring wife, daughter, sister, and mother. She loved her family deeply, and even through her own hardships and pain, she remained a pillar of support, always finding ways to show her love and care. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Carveth Wells and Phyllis Faye Jones Wells.

Left to cherish Sandy’s memory are her husband of over thirty years, Darryl Hall; two children, Ryan Hall and Holly Hall (Helen Pajevski); and two brothers, Richard “Scott” Wells and Robert Wells (Rhonda); niece, Ava Rose Wells; nephews, Nathan Wells, and Richie Wells; great nieces, Anna Wells, and Raliegh Wells; great nephews, Richardson Wells, Levi Wells, Jennings Wells, Robert Wells, and Rhodes Wells.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Sandy's funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Wells officiating.

Interment will follow at Wells Family Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
