RUTH STRICKLAND JOHNSON
Ruth Strickland Johnson, 77, of Kings Mountain, passed away June 2, 2012. She was born February 1, 1935 in Cleveland County to the late Robert Edward and Beaulah Bullock Strickland.
Her funeral service will be held at 3pm Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bob Hope, Rev. Doug Club, Rev. Scott Strickland officiating.
Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her sons;, Eddie and Debbie Johnson, Barry and Toni Johnson, Robert and Kim Johnson, all of Kings Mountain, Kenneth and Bernice Johnson of Dearing GA , daughter Tammy and Jack Propst of Clover, SC, sisters; Irene Queen and Joyce Revis, both of Kings Mountain, grandchildren; Derek, Brittany, and Justin Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Jackie Propst & Dwayne Propst, Gerald White, Chrishana Revis, Great-Granddaughter: McKenzie Huggins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Garlas "Garl" Johnson, brother: Clyde Strickland.
