Rebecca Yvonne Walker

Rebecca Yvonne Walker, 75, of Bessemer City, passed away at her home on April 12, 2025. She was born October 18, 1949, in Gaston County, to Grace Marie Brooks Dellinger and the late Aubry Austin Dellinger.

She is preceded in death by her father; husband, Tommy James Walker; significant other, Roy Riddle; sisters, Janice Mashburn and Debbie Jean Dellinger; and nephew, Dustin Aubry Dellinger.

Rebecca was a long-time member at God Can Baptist Church, Bessemer City. She loved her family, and she enjoyed traveling. She made great memories on all the trips with her family through the years.

Along with her mother, family members left to cherish her memories include her son, Cecil Riddle, Jr. (Susan); brother, Terry Dellinger (Tammy); grandchildren, Victoria Riddle, John Riddle, and Johnny Taylor; great grandson, Ezekiel Taylor; nephew, Josh Mashburn; niece, Jada Mashburn; and great niece, Laila Shikilo.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Rebecca’s Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Randy Richardson officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery.
