Nancy Darlene Mayne

Nancy Darlene Mayne, 77, of Bessemer City, passed away at Robin Johnson House on July 23, 2024. She was born December 5, 1946, in Gaston County, to the late Calvin Keith Posey and Bernice Moore Posey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael Memphis Mayne, and son, James Keith Mayne.

Nancy was a wonderful mom, nana, and great nana to her family.

Left to cherish his/her memories are daughter, Lu-Ann Marie Mayne; son, Scott S. Anthony; grandsons, Scotty Shane Anthony Jr., James Wesley Anthony; granddaughter Tamara Ann Nancy Mayne; great granddaughter, Adalyn Marie; brother, Gary Posey (Jane); sister, Sonja Poole (Floyd),  and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Monday, July 29, 2024.

Nancy’s Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Dennis Gomez officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
