Mary Emma Crisp

Mary Emma Mitchem Crisp, 92, of Gastonia passed away on August 10, 2025, at Caromont Regional. She was born on January 18, 1933, to the late Calvin Mitchem and Elizabeth Lanier.

She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Charles William Crisp, daughter, Trevia Brackett, son, Charles Alan Crisp, brothers, Robert Mitchem, Jim Mitchem, Roy Mitchem, and William Mitchem, sisters, Ruth Neal, and Mae Mintz.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Angela Carroll (Robert); brother, Jerry Mitchem; grandchildren, Lucas Carroll, Michael Crisp, Matthew Crisp, Patricia Moses; great grandchildren, Landon Crisp, Kinley Crisp, and Addison Moses; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Brown officiating.

Mary’s graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Westview Garden Cemetery.
