Loyd Gatherin Furr, 77, passed away on June 28, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 23, 1943 in Gaston County and was a son of the late Albert and Lois Welch Furr.
Left to cherish his memories are his children Rodney Furr, Deborah Furr, and Margaret Dailey and husband Joe; grandsons Brendan Bone, Adam Furr, Rodney Helton, and Jordan Cook.
Loyd’s graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Armstrong Cemetery with Pastor Larry officiating.
