Lloyd Clayton Bolton

Lloyd Clayton Bolton, 92, of Kings Mountain went to be with Jesus on October 8, 2026, at home. He was born on June 3, 1934, to the late Van Buren Bolton and Gussie Whitaker Bolton.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Myrtle Bolton; sons, Jeffrey Bolton and Jon Bolton; his parents; and siblings, Charles Bolton, Pete Bolton, Linda Bolton, Jim Bolton, Judy Lovelace, Gail Hampton.

Lloyd, also known by many as PawPaw, dearly loved God, his family, and his New Life Outreach church family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Cindi Bolton Guin; grandchildren, Gary Hensley Jr. (Jessica); Miranda Canter (Cory); Rodger Bolton; Lisa Bolton, Joe Bolton, Jessie Tanner (Josh); Josh Ball; and multiple great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Mountain Rest Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Owens officiating.
