Linda Tilley

Linda Ruth Tilley, 72, of Kings Mountain, passed away on December 14, 2014. She was born November 8, 1942 in Gaston County to the late Joseph S. and Velma Brown Meadows.

Linda was a member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church, Bessemer City and she loved God, family, antiques and working in her yard.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rusty Tilley; brothers, Harold Meadows and Jim Meadows

She is survived by her son, Sidney R. Brummitt and wife Tonya of Charlotte; daughters, Kimberly L. Howell of Orlando, Florida, Susan E. Parsons and husband Ronnie of Charlotte; brother Bobby Meadows of Lexington; sister, Joanne Grigg of Gastonia; 3 grandchildren, Abby, Ryan and Ronnie Jr., 2 great-grandchildren; special thanks to her care givers; sister-in-law, Betty Meadows, and her nieces and nephews.

Her celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Sunset Lane Baptist Church with Dick Hannah officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the church.
