LEE FRYE, JR.

Lee Woodard Frye, Jr., 70, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Buncombe County, N.C. on December 14, 1946 to the late Lee Woodard Frye, Sr. and Ruby Lee Whitted Frye.

Lee was a devoted husband and father of 45 years. He was a loving, loyal and proud man, whom enjoyed the simple things in life like hunting, fishing, gardening, and enjoying the breeze that flowed through the trees, while having a cup of black coffee. He was a dedicated and tireless worker who believed why put off tomorrow when you can do it today. He was a man who taught his kids proudly about morals and values that will last a lifetime. He was a husband that willing provided for his wife and family under any circumstance. He was a strong dependable, reliable, honorable, unfailing husband and father who fought til the end.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Dorothy Rogers Frye; sons Adam Lee Frye, Denitas Colen Frye and wife Alisha; daughter Julie Dawn Frye and Nathan Price; brother Gary Wayne Frye; sisters Norma Lee Kirkpatrick, Shirley McMillan, Mary Bruce; grandchildren Chelbie-Leigh, Braxton-Lee, Tyndall-Lee, Ethynn-Cole.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p. m. Friday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia with Rev. Pastor Willard Whitted officiating.
