Lawrence Everett Rowland

Larence Everett Rowland, 77, of Mt Holly passed away on April 17, 2026, at Novant Health Presbyterian, Charlotte. He was born on July 30, 1948, to the late John Rowland and Glenola Smith Rowland.

He is preceded in death by his parents, stepdaughter, Stephanie Fuller; son-in-law, Glen Fuller; brothers, Bobby Rowland and Johnny Rowland.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 30 years, Lavonda “Laws” Rowland; stepson, Shannon Edwards (Angela); daughter, Virginia Nichole Rowland; stepdaughters, Gwenn Burrell, and Lynn Rutkowski; sister, Gerry Murphy; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Lawrence’s graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia with Pastor Dennis Gomez officiating.
