LARRY  BINGHAM



Larry Wayne Bingham, 66, of Bessemer City, died October 14, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.  He was born January 20, 1946 in Gaston County to the late Fred and Pauline Bingham.



Larry was a lead person for Wix Filtration for 42 years. He was a hardworking man and farmer. He enjoyed cows, pigs, horses and chickens.  Larry loved his family dearly and was loved by all who knew him.



He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Jo Bingham, daughter, Windy Matheson and husband Robie of Bessemer City; brothers, Ronnie Bingham and wife Debbie of Clover, Roger Bingham and wife Pat of Gastonia, Bud Bingham and wife Libby of Sharon, SC, Danny Bingham  of Sharon, SC; grandchildren, Tyler Bridges, Jeremy Bridges and numerous others from the neighborhood and surrounding area he affectionately considered his grandchildren.



Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.



Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.



The family will receive friends 6-8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
