Kevin Darrell McGee

Kevin Darrell McGee, 53, of Bessemer City, passed away at Caromont Regional on December 10, 2024. He was born March 27, 1971, in Gaston County, to the late Paul Ray McGee and Bonnie “Lucille” McGee.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cindy McGee.

Kevin was a Navy veteran, and he worked for the post office for 20 plus years as a maintenance tech. He would take photos for music bands. He enjoyed baking and he learned how to cook healthy meals for himself. He attended the DragonCon every year with his friends who will greatly miss him. Kevin loved to walk outdoors, read, and listen to music. He adored his cat, Kaylee. He lived a simple life, and he passionately cared and took care of both of his parents.

Family members left to cherish his memories include his brother, Andy McGee (Kimi).

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
