Johnny Hooper

Johnny Eugene Hooper, 78, of Gastonia, passed away July 10, 2014 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas, NC. He was born March 1, 1936 in Odd, West Virginia to the late Johnny Brutus and Maggie Mildred Garretson Hooper.

Johnny is survived by his sons Donny Hooper and wife Tammy of Lowell, Randy Hooper and David Hooper both of Gastonia; daughters Sandra Beach and husband Mike of Blacksburg, SC., Sharon Cooke of Lawndale; brothers Otis Hooper and wife Ramona, Baxter Hooper and wife Brenda; sisters Lille Wilson of Gastonia, Diane Helton of Mt. Holly, Vadine Strader and husband Larry of Dallas; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

His memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Ranlo Freewill Baptist Church, Ranlo, with Rev. Jason Carson officiating.
