James Michael Maxwell, 63, of Gastonia, passed away at home on Saturday, January 15, 2022. He was born August 8, 1958, in Gaston County, to the late James Maxwell and Lorene Sipes.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Gina Maxwell; daughter, Samantha Maxwell; stepfather, David Sipes; siblings, Leanne Cooper, Julie Thompson, Lyne Martin (Kevin), and Freddy Sipes (Tammy).

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

James’ funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Sisk Butler Funeral Home with Minister Christina Garmon and Rev. Jeff Upright officiating.
