Jack Richard

Jack Leonard Richard, 89, of Gastonia, passed away on February 13, 2014 at home. He was born January 2, 1925 in Lincoln County to the late Charlie L. and Mamie Mull Richard Pruitt.

Jack was the Owner of Richard Machine Company, Inc., Gastonia, a former member of First Wesleyan Church Gastonia for forty years, and a member of Ragan Wesleyan Church. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

Jack is survived by his son Ricky Richard, Sr. and wife Jean of Bessemer City; grandson Ricky Richard, Jr. and wife Leann; twin great-grandchildren Jacob and Lyndsay Richard.

His graveside service will be private.

The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00-8:00 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jennie Fraley Richard of 57 years and brother Paul Richard.
