HELEN  HUFFSTETLER





Helen Alwayne Stewart Huffstetler, 83, of Dallas, passed away April 26, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.  She was born December 29, 1928 in Graham County to the late Tillman and Lenora Cooke Stewart.



Helen was a member of Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church in Dallas.



Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church, Dallas with Rev. Ralph Carver and Rev. Daniel Stewart officiating.



Interment will follow at the church cemetery.



Visitation will be on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church.



She is survived by her sons, Tim Phillips and wife Teresa of Bessemer City, Harold Phillips of Burnswick , NC, David "Shorty" Phillips and wife Dana of Dallas; brothers, Lester Stewart,  Rev. Daniel Stewart,  Buster Stewart all of Robinsville, NC; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren



She is preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Phillips and Richard Huffstetler; brother, Anthony Stewart; sister, Nettie A. Long; grandson, David Phillips, Jr..
