Danny Calvin Pennington

Danny Calvin Pennington, 74, of Gastonia passed away on May 8, 2025, at Caromont Regional Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1950, to the late William Pennington and Annie Mae McDonald Pennington.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Fowler Pennington, sister, Reba Pennington Rowe, and brother, Namon Pennington.

Danny enjoyed playing the guitar and shooting pool. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Daina Mondragon of Gastonia; sisters, Rachel Pennington Rowe of Bessemer City, and Kay Turner of Gastonia; granddaughter, April Pennington of Gastonia.

Danny's graveside service will be 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Clingman Memorial Gardens, Blacksburg, SC.
