Carolyn Jean Dugan Black, 70, of Texas Avenue passed away on Friday October 14, 2016 at Robin Johnson House. She was born on August 12, 1946 in Gaston County, to the late Athel and Ethel Bridges Dugan.
Carolyn was a lifelong member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Lynn Black; her siblings, Joyce, Jimmy, Judy, and Delane.
Left to cherish her memories are husband of more than 53 years, Charles Black, her grandson, Charlie Black.
Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 17, 2016 at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City with the Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.
