Carl Masters, Jr.

Carl Masters, Jr, 80, of Gastonia passed away on August 18, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 5, 1946, to the late Carl William Masters, Sr. and Marian Griggs Masters.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Rick Masters.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Carl Masters, III (Robin); daughters, Beth Masters Rouse (Ronnie), and Angela Masters (Kathy); grandchildren, Justin Sloan, Taylor Rouse, and Holly, Julia, Brandon Masters; and great grandson, Barrett Sloan.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:45 on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Carl’s funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Reverend Rufus Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
