Bobby Ray Craig, 84, of Bessemer City passed away on August 1, 2025, at Caromont Regional. He was born on April 27, 1941, to the late Leroy Craig and Mattie Hutto Stalcup.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Jenny Hudson, Rosalee Bumgardner, and Nancy Canipe, and grandson, Joshua Boone.

Bobby graduated from Southern Biscayne College. He served in the Army, and he was a medic in the National Guard for a total of 13 years. He was employed with WIX for 25 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years, Linda Tallent Craig; children, Ray Craig (Karen), Lonna Craig, Eddie and Valerie Boone; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Mann officiating.

Bobby’s funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery.
