Betty Mae Rayfield

Betty Mae Rayfield, 91, of Bessemer City passed away on October 4, 2025, at Testa Family Hospice House. She was born on November 27, 1933, to the late Manuel Lee Bridges and Etta Mae Bridges

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Russell Hobson Rayfield, Sr, brothers, Joe Bridges of Bessemer City, and Floyd Bridges of Kings Mountain.

Those left to cherish her memories include numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Long Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Will Upchurch officiating.

Betty’s funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm

Interment will follow at Long Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
