Andrew Gibson

Andrew Stevenson Gibson, 73, of Dallas, passed away peacefully at home Sunday February 21, 2016. He was born May 21, 1942, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late James Franklin and Estella Mary Montgomery Gibson.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 20 years, Bernice McKeehan Gibson; his daughters, Donna Smith, Diana Trimnal; stepdaughter, Karen Bridges; stepson, James Peek; brothers; sisters; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandsons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Randall Peek.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday February 24, 2016 at the Dallas Church of God, Dallas, North Carolina.

His funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the church with the Rev. Danny Shortridge, the Rev. Avon Craven and the Rev. Brett Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cornelius, North Carolina.
